### How often will you actually message me?

Less than you expect. The arrivals notice is weekly, darkroom nights are monthly, and the want list may go two years without sending anything at all. Nothing is bundled — following one notice never quietly signs you up to another.

### What does the bench charge?

Labour is quoted per job after the camera has been opened, never from a photograph, and a counter card takes ten per cent off it. If the bench cannot fix something it will say so at the inspection rather than after three weeks, and inspections that end that way are not charged for.

### How honest is the grading?

Deliberately pessimistic. Haze, separation, sticky slow speeds and tired seals are listed even when a photograph would hide them, and the shop would rather talk somebody out of a body than take a return six weeks later. If the description and the camera disagree, it comes back.

### Can I stop everything at once?

Yes, in one message, and it takes effect on the next send rather than at the end of some cycle. Stopping everything does not close a counter card or cancel a repair — those are separate things, and the counter will say which is which before doing anything.
