About Tsukumo Camera

Tsukumo opened in a Nakazakichō side street in 1989 buying out estates nobody else wanted. The upstairs bench is the reason it survived the years when nobody wanted film: mechanical shutters, rangefinder alignment, light seals and the odd leaf-shutter lens nobody at a service centre will touch any more. The shop sends out very little, and that is deliberate — the notices exist so somebody who has waited two years for a particular lens hears about it on the day it comes in.

How the desk works

Subscriptions and their state, with the reference the counter files them under. Look one up with its reference and the email it sits on, or sign in and see your own.

A subscription is looked up by its email address together with the email it belongs to — both, always. A signed-in visitor skips that: the assistant reads their own subscriptions from their identity and never asks for an address it has already been given.

The LINE connection is on the roadmap, not in production — this page shows the assistant half of it working against a seeded follower list so you can judge the experience before an account exists. Nothing written here reaches a real system.
